London Kill zone Trades
Trade 1 – NQ short
HTF Model – 4H Liquidity Purge CRT
LTF Model : Displacement + FVG
Outcome: +3R
Trade 2 : Gold Long
HTF Model – 4H Liquidity Purge CRT
This suggests bearishness in gold, however i took countertrend trade and went long after asian session and friday’s NYPM session’s low got ran
LTF – Raid of Previous session liquidity + 15m CRT Reversal
Since it was against my higher timeframe bias, this was a quick scalp trade for me
New York AM Trades
This session was where i messed up a lot and gave back profits made during london.
Based off the 4h chart, I was expecting further downside.
But I completely forgot about “Price Delivery Protocols”.
Which goes like this;
- After an expansion moves
- If objective hasn’t been hit then expect a retracement and continuation till objective is hit
- If objective has been hit expect either of these
- Reversal
- Conoslidation
Objectives will usually be gotten from higher time frame chart analysis, I usually stick to highs/lows and htf orderblocks.
To simplify price delivery phases and make it more specific to session profiles, i’d say, once previous session was expansive, the next session will consolidate, skip and trade the session after that.
If this was at the forefront of my mind, i’d have probably made better decisions, but i was more focused on hitting my profit target for the day.
Trade 1 – NQ Short
HTF Model – None
I didn’t have any S class htf model to support my bias, i just knew i wanted to see price sweep the previous 4 hour high and continue lower, there was no reason for it to go higher.
Based of the 4H chart, price had hit its london objective.
London was a one directional expansion, so I should have expect New York AM session to be a ranging session and skipped it.
I won’t make the same mistake again.
LTF Model – SMT with Raid Entry
Trade 2 – NQ Short
Shitty performance from me after taking that first loss.
I found myself wanting to, almost needing to take another trade so I could recover the loss from that trade.
I took a bunch of filler trades to gauge the market and as soon as I saw the smt at the highs i felt confident enough to size up.
Trade went a bit in my favour then stopped me out and breakeven and i called it a day.
Summary / Key Learning points
- If one session is over-extended i.e makes a big one sided move, skip the next session.
- If one session is ranging, get ready to execute on the next session
- Always have your HTF model, that is the fuel that will push your trades to TP
- Stop trading a session after 1 loss.
- Stop trading a session after 2 wins.
